The Dalian University of Technology (DUT), located in the city of Dalian, Liaoning Province, P. R. China, is among the top comprehensive research universities in China with prominent strengths in engineering, management and science research as well as the social sciences & humanities. The School of Foreign Languages (SFL) has long-established degree programs in English language training, including literature, applied linguistics and translation. In addition, the SFL is also responsible for organizing the teaching assignments for non-English degree program students.

Therefore, the SFL is now seeking native English language instructors for either English majors or non-English majors. The instructors will be expected to teach some of the following courses: Oral English, English Writing, Selected Readings in Newspapers and Journals, Prose Appreciation, Advanced Audio and Video Study, Scientific Research Writing, American Society and Culture, British Literature, American Literature, Latest Version of College English.

Basic requirements for these positions are:
√ native English speakers from U.S.A., Canada, U.K., Australia etc.
√ four-year Bachelor’s Degree or higher
√ liberal arts background preferred
√ at least 2 years of teaching experience
√ age of 23 – 65

Period of employment:
√ September 2012~July 2013
